How to do it
A standard leg press done with one foot on the platform at a time. It exposes and helps fix side-to-side differences, and gives each leg a hard effort with lighter total weight.
- Place the working foot centered on the platform, in line with your hip.
- Keep your hips square and both glutes on the seat.
- Use a shallower range than two-legged if your pelvis starts to rotate.
- Stop just short of locking the knee at the top.

How to track it
Musclist logs Single Leg Press as weight × reps. The weight starts from your last set, and the ± buttons step 2.5 kg (5 lb) at a time — the way this equipment usually goes up — though you can type any weight.
