How to do it
The load hangs from a belt around your hips instead of sitting on your shoulders, so you squat with no bar on your spine. It's a common pick for building leg volume when you want to keep the upper body and back out of it.
- Fit the belt snugly low on your hips before releasing the load.
- Hold the handles lightly for balance, not to pull yourself up.
- Sit straight down between your feet with an upright chest.
- Push the floor away and finish tall without leaning back.
