Who we are
Musclist is run by ALGORITHMA SAS, which is responsible for your data. Reach us at hello@musclist.com.
What we collect
- Your email address, to create and sign in to your account (directly or via Sign in with Apple or Google).
- Your name, if Apple or Google shares it when you sign in with them.
- Your date of birth and gender, only if you choose to add them in Settings.
- The workouts you log — exercises, sets, reps and weights — and any notes you create.
- Anonymous usage analytics on this website (Google Analytics). The app has none.
How we use it
Only to run Musclist: keep you signed in, store your history, show your progress and generate your Insights. We don't use your data for advertising and we don't track you across other apps or websites.
We process your account and workout data to provide the service you signed up for. Your date of birth and gender are optional and processed with your consent — remove them in Settings at any time.
Insights
When you generate a weekly Insights report, a summary of that week's training — exercise names, sets, reps, weights and volume, plus your age and gender if you added them — is sent to an AI model to write your suggestions. It is not sent with your name or email. Insights are informational only, not medical or training advice.
Who processes it for us
- Supabase — account and database hosting, in the EU.
- Vercel — hosting for this website and the app's API.
- OpenAI — generating Insights, in the United States.
- Apple and Google — only if you sign in with them.
- Google Analytics — this website only.
Where a provider handles data outside the EU, it does so under the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
How long we keep it
For as long as you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, workouts, notes and Insights are permanently deleted straight away.
Your rights
You can see and edit your data in the app, and ask us for a copy of it or to correct it by email. You can delete your account from inside the app at any time — here's how. You can also complain to your data protection authority (in France, the CNIL).
