How to do it
Kneeling with your ankles anchored, you slowly lower your body forward while resisting with your hamstrings, then return. It's a demanding bodyweight exercise built around a hard, controlled lowering phase.
- Anchor your heels securely and kneel on a pad.
- Keep a straight line from knees to head; don't bend at the hips.
- Lower as slowly as you can, catching yourself with your hands.
- Push off lightly with your hands to get back up while you build strength.
