How to do it
A plate-loaded machine press where each arm drives its own independent lever on an arc. Because sides work separately, it keeps a stronger arm from taking over and is easy to load heavily.
- Set the seat so the handles line up with your shoulders.
- Brace your back into the pad and press both handles together.
- Watch that each arm moves evenly.
- Lower slowly to a comfortable depth before the next press.

How to track it
Musclist logs Iso-Lateral Shoulder Press as weight × reps. The weight starts from your last set, and the ± buttons step 2.5 kg (5 lb) at a time — the way this equipment usually goes up — though you can type any weight.
