Why lifters pick Musclist

On iPhone and Android

Switch phones, or switch platforms, and sign in with Apple, Google or a code by email. Your workouts are already there.

See the muscles you worked

Every session ends with a muscle map. The darker a muscle, the more sets it got, so the gaps in your week stand out.

AI coaching notes every week

Opt in and AI reads a summary of your training week, without your name or email: volume against last week, sets per muscle and what to adjust next.

Count your perfect weeks

Set a weekly goal and every week you hit it is a perfect week. A 12-week chart shows how steady you have been.

Switching from FitNotes

Musclist cannot import a FitNotes backup or CSV yet, so keep your export. Rebuilding your routine takes a few minutes: create a workout for each day and add its exercises, or log a session and save it to your routine in one tap.

Questions

Is there a FitNotes app for iPhone?

FitNotes itself is Android only, according to its own website. Musclist is a free gym log on both iPhone and Android.

Is Musclist really free?

Yes. There is no paid plan, no subscription and no ads.

How do the AI insights work?

They are optional. When you ask for your weekly report, AI analyses a summary of that week’s sets, without your name or email, and gives you notes on volume, muscle balance and what to adjust. It is information, not medical advice.

Can I import my FitNotes data?

Not yet. Your FitNotes history stays in FitNotes, and you start fresh in Musclist.

Do I need an account?

Yes. Sign in with Apple, Google or a code by email. That is what keeps your workouts when you change phones.
